Hong Kong Airlines once again significantly increases international route fuel surcharges, with China Eastern and China Southern Airlines following suit. Caixin.com, March 17 — To cope with rising fuel prices, after increasing fuel surcharges on March 12, Hong Kong Airlines announced today that it will raise fuel surcharges again on the 18th: the surcharge for flights from Hong Kong to mainland China remains at 190 HKD; short-haul flights from Hong Kong to Asia will increase from 212 HKD to 290 HKD; long-haul flights to Europe, America, Africa, and the Middle East will rise from 739 HKD to 1164 HKD.
