Japan and the US will jointly develop shipbuilding AI robots

Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 18 — According to Nikkei Asia, Japan and the United States plan to collaborate on developing AI robots for the shipbuilding industry. The two sides are expected to reach an agreement at the Washington Summit this Thursday. Japan aims to double its domestic shipbuilding output by 2035 compared to 2024. Additionally, the two countries will cooperate on joint rare earth development, addressing disruptions in critical mineral supply chains, and engaging in dialogues on cybersecurity and economic security.
