Coinworld reported on March 18 that Shield, a privacy-first wallet built on the privacy public chain Aleo, has launched on iOS. The wallet supports private transfers, private stablecoins, and cross-chain swaps, allowing users to use it directly on iPhone. Shield encrypts transaction records by default and completes verification through zero-knowledge proofs without exposing amounts, counterparties, and balances. Leveraging Aleo's programmable privacy capabilities, Shield also supports private stablecoin transfers such as USDCx and USAD.
