The Supreme People’s Procuratorate held a press conference today to release the 2025 White Paper on the work of the “Four Major Procuratorates” — criminal, civil, administrative, and public interest litigation. Using specific data and typical cases, it objectively reflects the development trends and work quality of procuratorial work over the past year. In 2025, national procuratorial organs lawfully fulfilled their legal supervision duties, handling a total of 3.467 million cases, including 2.887 million criminal cases, 268,000 civil cases, 176,000 administrative cases, and 136,000 public interest litigation cases.
