US Energy Secretary: It Was All Israel
On the 7th, multiple oil storage facilities in Iran were attacked. On the 8th, when asked whether the attacks on Iran’s oil industry are part of a new strategy by the U.S. and Israel, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wight immediately distanced himself, claiming that the U.S. has no such plans and that the attacks on Iran’s oil facilities are “all carried out by Israel.” U.S. sources said that the U.S. is dissatisfied with Israel’s attack on Iran’s oil storage facilities, believing that the scale of the Israeli strikes “far exceeds U.S. expectations.” The reports also mentioned that this is the “first major disagreement” since the U.S. and Israel launched strikes against Iran on February 28. U.S. officials are concerned that Israeli strikes could disturb the market, leading to further increases in oil and energy prices. An American official stated that the U.S. and Israel will discuss their differences and U.S. expectations for military actions at a high political level. (CCTV News)
