This morning, trading volume for industry and thematic ETFs declined significantly. Only the CSI Innovation Chip ETF (588200) and Communication ETF (515880) traded over 1 billion yuan in the first half of the day; in the cross-border ETF sector, the China-Korea Semiconductor ETF (513310) by Huatai-PineBridge reached a trading volume of 3.345 billion yuan in the first half of the day, showing relatively active trading, while the Hong Kong Securities ETF (513090) by E Fund, which saw a large increase in volume yesterday, only traded 2.951 billion yuan in the first half of the day.

Looking at the ETF gain leaderboard, this morning, sectors such as computing power leasing, CPO, and storage chips surged collectively. Related industry ETFs also performed well, with seven ChiNext AI ETFs gaining over 3% in the first half of the day, leading the gains.

From an investment perspective, under the support of policies and technological innovation, artificial intelligence is transitioning from a technology validation phase to a large-scale application phase. Overall, policy guidance has shifted from pure technological R&D to ecosystem building and large-scale application, providing a clear development path for industries related to smart economy. Additionally, domestic leading AI models have now firmly ranked among the top global tiers in token consumption, demonstrating strong user adoption and market competitiveness. Some domestic models, with high cost-performance ratios, are experiencing steeper growth rates, indicating ongoing expansion potential.

Commentary: The ChiNext AI ETF (159243) gained 3.64% this morning, with a share of 203 million units and a half-day trading volume of 24.8069 million yuan. This index tracks the ChiNext AI Index, and ETFs tracking this index include the ChiNext AI ETF by Huaxia (159381), the ChiNext AI ETF by Guotai (159388), and the ChiNext AI ETF (159363). Among them, the ChiNext AI ETF (159363) has a larger scale, with 5.542 billion shares, a half-day increase of 3.38%, and a half-day trading volume of 467 million yuan.

The ChiNext AI Index mainly focuses on AI stocks listed on the Shenzhen ChiNext Market, selecting target stocks with the top 50 in average daily total market value to construct the index. Its thematic and technological innovation attributes are prominent. The index’s characteristics align with the current “new quality productivity” theme, supporting traditional industry upgrades and the development of emerging industries.
