Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on Tuesday highlighted the rapid rise of an AI project called OpenClaw as an important step forward in how humans interact with artificial intelligence.

During an interview at Nvidia’s GTC conference, Huang said, “It is now the largest, most popular, and most successful open-source project in human history. This is definitely the next ChatGPT.”

OpenClaw is an open-source autonomous AI agent platform that far exceeds traditional chatbots. These agents can not only answer questions but also complete tasks, make decisions, and take actions with minimal input from users.

Nvidia is moving quickly to leverage the momentum of OpenClaw to develop new products. On Monday, the company announced NemoClaw, an enterprise version of OpenClaw that overlays Nvidia’s software stack and tools on the platform. Its goal is to make these powerful AI agents safe, scalable, and applicable to real-world scenarios.

Huang described this technology as a fundamental revolution that can greatly expand individual AI capabilities. “With just one line of code, you can create your own intelligent agent. Then, you just let the agent do whatever you want,” he said.

He illustrated this concept with a real-world example: designing a kitchen. With a simple prompt, an OpenClaw agent can learn images, master design tools, iterate on ideas, and autonomously optimize outputs. “They will learn how to design a kitchen, then return with a design and reflect on it,” Huang explained about how the system improves its work.

He added that the broader impact is the enhancement of individual professional skills. “Now every carpenter can become an architect, every plumber can become an architect. We will elevate everyone’s abilities,” he said.
