[Caixin] On March 17th, U.S. time, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, in an interview with Caixin and other media outlets, sent a more positive signal regarding the Chinese market than before.

Huang said the company has obtained permission to sell H200 chips to Chinese customers and has restarted production based on customer demand. He stated that orders are currently being processed and the supply chain is recovering, which is a different situation from before.

NVIDIA’s AI chips have been “cut off” from the Chinese market for over 10 months. As a key company involved in the US-China tech rivalry, it values the Chinese market but remains cautious in its statements. NVIDIA CFO Colette Kress admitted during the February 25 earnings call that, although some products have received export licenses, no actual revenue has been generated yet, and policy uncertainties still exist.
