PANews March 18 - According to Xinhua News Agency as reported by Jin Shi, Iran's Fars News Agency reported on the evening of the 17th, citing sources familiar with the matter, that Iran has pre-designated 3 to 7 replacement candidates for all critical government officials and military commanders to ensure the continuity of core state functions in the event of emergencies. The source said that this precautionary personnel arrangement aims to ensure that both state administrative operations and defense actions will not be interrupted regardless of any unexpected events. Iran's side has latest confirmed that Iran's highest national security council secretary Ali Larijani and militia "Mobilization of the Dispossessed" commander Gholam-Reza Soleimani were killed in airstrikes.
