Gate Pay launches merchant MCP service to promote payment operations automation
Mars Finance News: Gate Pay has announced the launch of its Merchant MCP (Merchant MCP) service, promoting the application of AI Agents in payment operation scenarios. The service encapsulates high-frequency operations such as balance inquiries, order queries, and refunds into Tools that comply with the MCP protocol, enabling merchants to complete queries and operations through natural language commands in customer service, finance, and operations scenarios, improving efficiency and optimizing workflow collaboration. Gate Pay introduces restricted access keys (RAK) that support on-demand configuration of call permissions, combined with idempotency checks, rate limiting, and risk control mechanisms to ensure operations are controllable and traceable. The current MVP version supports three core capabilities: balance inquiry, order query, and refunds, with plans to expand to more scenarios in the future. Gate has built a unified interface architecture covering six major capabilities: CEX, DEX, wallets, payments, data, and information, supporting AI Agents to complete the entire process from information retrieval to execution within the same platform. The launch of the Merchant MCP further strengthens the capability boundaries of AI Agents at the execution level, providing more direct infrastructure support for AI deployment in real business scenarios.
