US Media: Nationwide protests against the Trump administration in the United States, with over 9 million expected participants, or possibly the "largest protest in American history."

What does the surge in protests in states with comparable support for both parties mean?

Massive “No Kings” protests across the U.S. over the weekend as public dissatisfaction with Trump’s policies grows.

According to reports from the Associated Press and other American media, on March 28th local time, large-scale protests against the Trump administration erupted nationwide. Organizers stated that over 3,100 protests are planned across all 50 states, with more than 9 million expected to participate, potentially making it the largest protest gathering in U.S. history.

On March 28th local time, the public held a protest against Trump in New York.

Reports indicate that the organizers of the “No Kings” protest claimed that the first two rounds of “No Kings” gatherings attracted over 5 million and 7 million participants, respectively, last June and October. It is anticipated that more than 9 million will join the protests on March 28th. More than 3,100 protests have been registered across all 50 states, an increase of 500 from October of last year.

On March 28th local time, the public held a protest against Trump in Georgia, where demonstrators held signs reading “America First is a lie” and “Rising food prices, rising gas prices.”

Organizer representative Gillie Porter expressed encouragement that more than 50% of the protests on the 28th took place in states and regions where voter sentiment leans Republican or has comparable support for both parties. “The statistics are impressive. This is significant. This is not a partisan issue. This is actually the most patriotic thing you can do,” said Gillie Porter.

NBC News reported that protesters expressed their anger over issues such as Iran and immigration. Earlier this month, a national poll by the media found that most registered voters in the U.S. were dissatisfied with how the Trump administration handled immigration, Iran, inflation, and cost of living issues.
