"Hundred Cities, Thousand Schools, Ten Thousand Enterprises Promote Employment" Campaign Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region (Beijing) Special Job Fair
Dong Zhaorui
People’s Daily Online, Beijing, March 29 (Reporter Li Bo) To support the high-quality development of the private economy and the quality and full employment of college graduates, on March 27, the 2026 National “Hundred Cities, Thousand Schools, Ten Thousand Enterprises Promote Employment” action held a special recruitment event in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region at the Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
A total of over 140 companies participated both online and offline, offering nearly 3,000 positions in technical research and development, product development, market sales, new media operations, and more.
This event was jointly organized by the Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Municipal Education Commission, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau, and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, aiming to guide Beijing enterprises to actively fulfill their social responsibilities and reflect their commitment to high-quality full employment.
The event closely aligned with the construction needs of the Beijing (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei) International Science and Technology Innovation Center, accurately matching the supply and demand for industry talent. On site, leading companies such as JD.com, Meituan, Xiaomi, Beike, Didi, and TAL Education, along with a number of specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprises, covered key industries for development in the capital, including biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, and cultural creativity, providing rich employment options for graduates.
Approximately 2,000 recent graduates from over 20 universities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, including the Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, Peking University, Beijing Jiaotong University, North China Electric Power University, and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, attended the event.
The venue set up policy consultation desks, career planning guidance stations, and legal service areas to provide students with “one-on-one” precise services, covering employment policy interpretation, career development planning, and labor rights protection.
It is understood that this event also opened an online recruitment channel simultaneously, establishing a dedicated recruitment area on the official websites of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. The online recruitment will continue until mid-April, providing more job opportunities for graduates who were unable to attend in person.
