For international and regional routes, Air China plans to increase flights on more than 10 routes such as Beijing–Warsaw, Milan, Budapest, etc., open new international routes Chongqing–Manila and Wenzhou–Jeju, and resume the Beijing–Delhi route.

China Southern

China Southern plans to adjust its route layout and flight schedules. It has opened new routes from Beijing Daxing to Yining, Korla, and Quanzhou, and increased flight frequency on the Beijing Daxing–Ningbo and Beijing Daxing–Wenzhou routes.

China Eastern

For international routes, for the new summer–autumn season, China Eastern plans to launch 30 new international and regional routes, including “Shanghai—Tashkent,” “Shanghai—Adelaide,” “Shanghai—Cheongju,” “Shanghai—Tbilisi,” “Xi’an—Vienna,” and others, and increase flights on 14 routes including Shanghai to Venice, Barcelona, and Singapore.

Around before and after the summer season, new routes will also be added on trips from Shanghai to Stockholm, Dublin, Zurich, Mumbai, Ulaanbaatar, and so on. The Shanghai—Tashkent route will switch schedules starting March 30.

For domestic routes, China Eastern’s newly launched destinations are concentrated in tourism markets such as Xinjiang, Yunnan, and Guangxi, including routes such as “Beijing Daxing—Tacheng,” “Qingdao—Korla,” “Qingdao—Urumqi,” “Ningbo—Guilin,” and “Dalian—Changzhou—Kunming.”

New season

China’s homegrown large aircraft C919 keeps rolling out “new route launches”

On March 29, China Eastern opened the “Xi’an—Xiamen” route and seasonally restored the “Shanghai Hongqiao—Shenyang” route.

China Southern plans to concentrate the deployment of the C919 aircraft on main routes such as Guangzhou to Beijing Daxing, Wuhan, and Nanjing.

Air China will also add two operating points—Harbin and Xiamen—during the new season, further expanding the network for operating domestic aircraft.

How can you buy tickets more cheaply?

At the beginning of the schedule changeover, it is a favorable window for booking and traveling. Due to the launch of new routes in clusters and increased flight frequency, many domestic routes offer substantial ticket discounts. For travelers with flexible travel dates, choosing off-peak travel helps avoid travel rush periods and also saves on travel costs.
