On March 11 local time, a recent poll showed that the American public’s trust in the U.S. Supreme Court has fallen to its lowest level since relevant surveys began in 2000. The survey revealed that only 22% of respondents expressed “a lot of confidence” or “some confidence” in the Supreme Court, while 40% indicated “some confidence,” and 38% said they had “little confidence” or “no confidence at all.” Additionally, the poll showed that 54% of respondents support the Supreme Court’s recent ruling to overturn the Trump administration’s tariff policy, while 27% expressed opposition. The survey also found that 55% of respondents believe the Trump administration’s tariff policy is harming the U.S. economy. This poll was conducted from February 27 to March 3, surveying 1,000 registered voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. (CCTV News)
