Beijing News (Reporter Liu Huan) - The 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting is currently underway. On March 26, the special conference titled “Exploring the Future: Technology Empowering High-Quality Sustainable Development” was held at the Zhongguancun Forum, where in-depth discussions took place on topics such as technological innovation iteration, AI large model industry applications, and new product releases, with AI smart wearables becoming a hot topic of discussion.

Regarding the development trends of smart wearables in the AI era, Wang Hongjian, Vice President of Pathfinder Group and CEO of Shanghai Tongtu Semiconductor Technology, pointed out in his speech that the future industrial pattern of large models will focus on efficient collaboration among “end-edge-cloud,” deeply deploying into eight major terminal fields including personal devices, smart spaces, smart vehicles, industrial internet, embodied robots, and AR/VR wearable devices, forming an “on-site intelligence + intelligent agents” full-scene implementation. He stated that Pathfinder will work hand in hand with partners along the industrial chain, focusing on full-stack compression technology to jointly promote the high-quality development of the AI large model industry.

Liu Shunnan, CEO of Shenzhen Xiandu Technology Co., Ltd., emphasized during his presentation the role of AI in health scenarios, which not only makes devices smarter but also makes them more useful and accessible, thereby promoting positive changes in people’s lifestyles. When the “measurement-analysis-feedback” closed loop is formed, wearable devices are no longer isolated hardware but become gateways for users to access sports and health service platforms. The ultimate goal of combining AI with smart wearables is to integrate proactive, preventive health management into everyone’s daily life.

Li Ming, Chairman of Pathfinder, introduced that in 2025, the company completed strategic acquisitions of two chip companies, Shenzhen Better Life and Shanghai Tongtu, establishing a chip capability that covers the entire chain of perception, interaction, and display. Pathfinder adheres to “dual empowerment”: on one hand, injecting intelligent “brains” into outdoor gear through chips, and on the other hand, transforming extreme scenarios such as extreme cold, high altitudes, deep space, and deep sea into high-value testing grounds for chip research and development.

During the new product launch segment, Pathfinder showcased its second-generation smart motion exoskeleton and smart shoes, which are planned to be launched in the first half of 2026. According to reports, the second-generation exoskeleton, based on human biomechanics models and laboratory measured data, can effectively enhance the strength of lower limb muscle groups by about 40%, making leg lifting and walking much easier.

In addition, at the Zhongguancun Forum site, reporters saw that Pathfinder set up an exhibition area titled “Innovating Alongside Innovation to Serve National Strategies: Dual Main Business Innovation Achievements,” focusing on showcasing the integration achievements of outdoor smart equipment and chips, covering cutting-edge products such as the latest smart outdoor gear and holographic transparent invisible screens.
