Abstract generation in progress

On March 30, People’s Finance reported that the demand growth driven by AI is gradually reversing the long-standing losses of Chinese cloud vendors. Recently, Kingsoft Cloud released its latest financial report showing that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the company achieved revenue of 2.76 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.7%, and has posted adjusted operating profit for two consecutive quarters. Tencent’s financial report revealed that in 2025, Tencent Cloud achieved scaled profitability for the first time after years of losses. Industry insiders analyze that for a long time, the overall profitability of China’s cloud computing industry has been weak due to low-price competition. However, with the explosion of AI demand, the industry landscape is undergoing profound changes. Although upstream cloud services also face pressure from rising supply chain costs, in the AI era, the bargaining power of cloud vendors is expected to improve. (Shanghai Securities Journal)
