Most of Europe enters daylight saving time
In 2026, most of Europe will enter daylight saving time on March 29 (Sunday) at 1:00 a.m. UTC. The clocks will be set forward by 1 hour, and everyone will sleep one hour less.
Daylight saving time will last until October 25 (Sunday). At that point, the clocks will be set back by 1 hour, and people can sleep one hour more. For example, in the UK, when it enters UK daylight saving time in March, it returns to Greenwich Mean Time in October.
But there are exceptions: according to information from timeanddate.com, countries such as Iceland, Belarus, and Russia do not observe daylight saving time.
