The Israel Defense Forces announced on the evening of March 29 local time that earlier that day, dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets completed another round of airstrikes on infrastructure in Tehran, the capital of Iran. The IDF stated that the focus of this round of airstrikes was to further damage Iran’s weapon production capabilities, with over 120 munitions dropped on facilities used for weapon research and production. The IDF also targeted facilities used for storing and launching ballistic missiles, as well as several air defense facilities. The commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Sayyed Majid Moussavi, posted on social media that retaliatory actions in response to the attacks on Iranian infrastructure are still ongoing.
