CCTV News (Reporter Gao Jing) On March 28, the 2026 Guangdong Province Food Industry College Graduate Supply and Demand Meeting was held at South China Agricultural University. Nearly a hundred companies participated in the job fair, covering various positions in research and development, production, management, marketing, and more, attracting over 3,000 students to attend for job seeking.

According to reports, to accelerate the hiring process and improve recruitment efficiency, many companies conducted presentations and interviews on campus before the official start of the job fair, allowing for on-the-spot signing at the event. The organizers also provided a “Saturday recruitment, Sunday interview” model, enabling the hiring process to be completed in as fast as 72 hours.

Manager Zhang from Guangdong Jinhui Grain Group Co., Ltd. stated, “This time we completed the initial screening on-site in the morning, organized the first round of interviews in the afternoon, and we can conduct the second round of interviews on Sunday. This not only helps us save recruitment costs but also allows us to give offers to our preferred candidates promptly, avoiding talent loss.”

To assist graduates in finding employment, institutions like Zhongkai University of Agricultural Engineering and Shaoguan University specifically chartered buses to take students in groups for job seeking. Many lower-grade students also attended to observe, gaining early insights into industry dynamics and job seeking atmosphere, clarifying professional development and career direction.

“Next, the school will collaborate with human resources departments and partner companies to conduct follow-up employment visits within a week, continuously tracking the hiring dynamics of companies, fully leveraging the bridging role of school-enterprise cooperation, accurately connecting with industry needs, and further expanding the quality employment market,” said Wang Chengshu, Vice President of South China Agricultural University. The school will deepen the integration of production and education and the collaborative education model with enterprises, focusing on enhancing graduates’ practical abilities and employment competitiveness, promoting the deep integration of industry and talent, and supporting the implementation of the “Million Talents Gather in Nanyue” action plan.
