Amman, March 29 (Petra) -His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Sunday called for accelerating the development of the legislative framework that supports start-ups, thereby empowering young people and enhancing their access to funding, particularly in the technology sector.
Chairing a regular meeting of the National Council for Future Technology, attended by the council’s chairman Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, His Royal Highness highlighted the need to develop digital infrastructure, including improving internet services in Jordan’s schools particularly in the governorates in order to enhance the educational process and its outcomes.
The Crown Prince was briefed on the progress of monitoring and collecting government data efficiently and accurately, and managing it using artificial intelligence tools, to support improved institutional performance, enhance the efficiency of government services, simplify procedures for citizens, and support economic development.
