On March 24 local time, the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command announced that due to Russian drone activities in Ukraine, the Polish and allied air forces have launched operations in Polish airspace. Fighter jets and helicopters are currently in the air, and ground air defense systems are on high alert. The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that Russian drones have conducted large-scale airstrikes against Ukraine, including attacks on the center of Lviv. The Operational Command is continuously monitoring the current situation, with its forces and equipment kept in a state of readiness for immediate response. In recent months, due to multiple large-scale airstrikes by Russia on Ukraine, Polish and allied warplanes have frequently taken to the skies to carry out missions. In such operations, the pilots’ task is to patrol Polish airspace and confirm that the drones do not pose a threat to Poland. (CCTV News)
