The U.S. Department of Energy says Trump has authorized the release of 172 million barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Local time on March 11, the U.S. Department of Energy said that U.S. President Trump has authorized the department to begin releasing 172 million barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve starting next week. Based on the planned release rate, delivery of this batch of crude oil will take about 120 days. (CCTV News)
