Deep Tide TechFlow message, April 01, OpenAI has completed a round of fundraising totaling $122 billion, with the company valued at $852 billion. This marks the largest fundraising round the company has undertaken to date, providing support for its costly investments in chips, data centers, and talent. In this financing process that was prepared over several months, most of the funds came from three major technology companies. Amazon agreed to invest $50 billion in this round, while NVIDIA and SoftBank Group each invested $30 billion. A large portion of Amazon’s investment ($35 billion) depends on whether OpenAI can go public or reach technological milestones toward achieving artificial general intelligence.

For the first time, OpenAI raised more than $3 billion from individual investors through bank channels. OpenAI said the company currently generates $2 billion in revenue each month. Enterprise sales currently account for 40% of its revenue, and it is expected that this share will rise to 50% by the end of the year. (Jin10)
