UAE plans to collaborate with the U.S. military to forcefully breach the Strait of Hormuz
Deep Tide TechFlow news, April 01, according to The Wall Street Journal, Arab officials said that after suffering an Iranian attack, the United Arab Emirates is preparing to help the United States and its allies open up the Strait of Hormuz through military force. This would make the UAE the first Gulf country to directly enter the conflict. Officials said the UAE is currently lobbying the UN Security Council to pass a resolution authorizing such military action. A UAE official revealed that its diplomats have urged the United States and major military powers in Europe and Asia to form an alliance to forcibly break through the strait with force.
The official added that the Iranian regime believes it is fighting for survival and is willing to drag the global economy to its demise by locking down the strait. The official also said that the UAE is actively assessing what military role it could take in ensuring the strait’s security, including helping to clear mines and providing other support services. In addition, some Arab officials mentioned that this Gulf country has also proposed that the U.S. should occupy the relevant islands within that strategic waterway, including Abu Musa Island—controlled by Iran for half a century but claimed by the UAE to have sovereignty over it.
