Ark Invest, under Woodie's leadership, adds OpenAI shares to its series funds
Mars Finance reports that, according to Bloomberg, Cathie Wood has added OpenAI to the ARKK, ARKF, and ARKW funds. Each fund is expected to hold about 3% of the shares, enabling retail investors to directly invest in one of the world’s hottest private companies. Ark Invest officially announced in 2024 that it held OpenAI through its ARK Venture Fund (a private VC fund), and has increased its stake multiple times, including a $250 million investment in October 2024.
