Raytheon, a subsidiary of RTX, has been awarded two contract modifications totaling $966.7 million by the Missile Defense Agency to support the AN/TPY-2 radar system. These modifications will fund research, development, and sustainment of the radar, which is crucial for ballistic missile defense. The contracts extend the work through October 2030, significantly increasing the radar development contract’s total ceiling value.
