Limit-up recap

My style
I’m a day-trader. Every day before the market opens, I pick three stocks as priority buy targets, but they’re not set in stone. With thousands of listed stocks, it’s impossible for everything to remain unchanged and locked to only a handful of pre-selected targets from before the open while giving up other opportunities. Behind those few pre-selected stocks, I also often keep an eye on dozens of other stocks or several sectors. Plans can’t keep up with changes; circumstances are stronger than people. What matters specifically is the intraday market situation.

I dare to enter with a full position at high levels in individual stocks, and I’m almost fully invested every day. The purpose of short-term trading is to maximize the utilization efficiency of capital and pursue high returns, and to avoid participating in corrections in individual stocks; otherwise it would only waste time and go against short-term principles.

Retail investors lose money because once they make a little bit, they run to lock in gains and play it safe. If they lose a little, they must break even before leaving; they’re unwilling to cut losses. They don’t realize the more they lose, the more they lose, and in the end they don’t even want to exit—leading to long-term bag-holding. When experts buy, if it doesn’t meet expectations, they cut losses immediately and never linger. They can be greedy when making money—tightening their grip and refusing to let go—like hyenas. Actually, by thinking more about the reasons why most people lose money and doing the opposite, making money in this market won’t be as difficult anymore. Wealth lies in technique and not in labor; profit lies in the situation and not in sheer effort.
