Focusing on "Manufacturing + Services" and Strengthening Scenario Applications, China National Petroleum Corporation Kunlun Manufacturing attracts much attention at the Cippe 2026 exhibition

Beijing, March 28—Xinhua Finance—From March 26 to March 28, the 26th China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe2026) was held in Beijing. Over 2,000 industry exhibitors from 81 countries and regions around the world visited and exchanged ideas on-site, jointly witnessing and exploring the overarching trend of industrial transformation and development, as well as new approaches and new products in the energy equipment manufacturing sector.

As an exhibitor under the “China National Petroleum Exhibition Group,” PetroChina Kunlun Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Kunlun Manufacturing) brought seven of its affiliated companies to this exhibition. Closely centered on the theme of “opening up, innovation, aesthetic appeal, and service,” it set up five application scenario display areas—drilling and well completion equipment, oil production equipment, refining and chemical processing equipment, transportation and conveying equipment, and new energy green equipment—showcasing 236 energy equipment products and services in total. With distinctive strengths in energy equipment development through “manufacturing + services,” it promotes high-quality development across the entire oil and gas upstream, midstream, and downstream value chain, and provides reliable energy equipment support for advancing Chinese-style modernization.

Target customer needs head-on, and strengthen “manufacturing + services”

One of the biggest features of Kunlun Manufacturing’s participation in this exhibition is that 30% of its exhibits are integrated service solution offerings. The exhibition objectives shifted from “promoting a single product” to systematic, scenario-based displays, with customer needs as the starting point, delivering “tailor-made” product-and-service integrated solutions. For example, the new energy integrated solution launched by Baoji Petroleum Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Baoji Machinery); the integrated testing and gas production solution demonstrated by Beijing Petroleum Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Bingshi Co.); the comprehensive technical service solution for gas turbines exhibited by Bohai Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Bohai Equipment); and the integrated solution for oil and gas exploration and development offered by Jichai Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jichai Power), among others. Most of these product and service solutions integrate complete operating processes in a particular field—such as oil and gas exploration, drilling, production, transportation services, gas turbine manufacturing services, and new energy applications. They can focus on specific application scenarios to customize and deliver end-to-end solutions for customers, fully demonstrating Kunlun Manufacturing’s direction in equipment manufacturing development, with the market as the leader and customer needs as the goal. At the same time, Kunlun Manufacturing also relies on PetroChina Technology Development Co., Ltd. to build a global business footprint, integrating various equipment business lines, and provides professional, end-to-end product and service solutions to more than 110 countries and regions worldwide.

Empower equipment with digital intelligence to drive “smart manufacturing”

Actively building an “artificial intelligence + equipment” ecosystem and achieving the leap from “manufacturing” to “intelligent manufacturing” is one of Kunlun Manufacturing’s key development directions. At this exhibition, China Petroleum equipment that is empowered by digital intelligence is in evidence—for instance, Baoji Machinery’s intelligent drilling solutions, Bingshi Co.’s Kunhong operating system and its ecosystem of intelligent equipment, Jichai Power’s “Dragon Series” intelligent compressors, and Baoji Pipe Industry Co., Ltd.’s continuous-tube downhole electric heating system, among others, all “reintroducing themselves” with a renewed look. In areas such as intelligent equipment control, intelligent decision-making, integrated operations, and remote maintenance, they powerfully enhance the technical performance of traditional equipment, fully showcasing the digital and intelligent development level of domestic energy equipment.

Target customer needs head-on and go deep into “green development in action”

In the period of the “15th Five-Year Plan and the 5 years thereafter” (i.e., 2026–2035), Kunlun Manufacturing will accelerate its pace to promote a greener transformation, comprehensively enhance the technological competitiveness of green and low-carbon energy equipment, and build a green supply chain for energy equipment. During this exhibition, a large number of mature green and low-carbon equipment products and new-material equipment that have been tested and proven by the market were showcased in a concentrated display. In particular, Jichai Power’s 6.25-megawatt-hour lithium iron phosphate liquid-cooled energy storage system, the all-vanadium flow battery energy storage system, and the 140 methanol engine; Bohai Equipment’s solid heat-storage electric boiler for steam generation (heat storage and steam injection); and products such as non-metal composite pipe materials and new metallurgical seamless bimetal composite pipes from the PetroChina Engineering Materials Research Institute attracted the attention of many visitors and companies. They demonstrate a new advantage for deepening green manufacturing in China Petroleum’s equipment, and driving rapid growth in industries such as new energy and new materials.

During the three-day exhibition, with a tight pace, major achievements, and upgraded services, Kunlun Manufacturing fully promoted the China Petroleum equipment brand, contributing equipment manufacturing service strength to help PetroChina fulfill its strategic mission of “building a strong energy country and enabling a better life.”
