Is Atour really that amazing?

I keep seeing articles about Atour lately—how they refine and deeply cultivate the hotel industry, how great their pillows, bedding, and soundproofing are, and so on.
The ideas sound reasonable; they focus on sleep and cut out unnecessary facilities and services.
But I haven’t stayed there, so I don’t have any direct, firsthand feel.

Does Atour perform at the same level as Marriott? And is the price much lower?
Are Atour’s pillows really that good?
Is it truly great, or is it just good marketing?

I want to buy a pillow to try it—does anyone have recommendations?
