Russia’s National Bureau of Statistics released data on Wednesday showing that, as of March 30, Russia’s consumer gasoline prices have risen cumulatively by 3.04% since the beginning of the year, exceeding the overall inflation rate of 2.95% for the same period.

The report shows that from March 24 to 30, Russia’s gasoline prices rose 0.27% month over week. As of March 30, the nationwide average price of gasoline was 66.73 rubles per liter. Of this, the average price of gasoline with an octane rating of 92 was 63.19 rubles per liter, and the price of 95 octane gasoline was 68.61 rubles per liter.

The data shows that in recent years, increases in Russia’s gasoline prices have repeatedly outpaced inflation. In 2025, Russia’s gasoline prices rose 10.78%, about twice the overall inflation rate for the year (5.59%). (Xinhua Finance)
