Abstract generation in progress

Deep Tide TechFlow news. On April 2, according to a report by BeInCrypto, a survey conducted by Tokyo consulting firm Clabo in February 2026 of 1,486 Japanese respondents found that Japan’s Gen Z is far more vigilant about social media scams in the cryptocurrency space than other generations; fake giveaways and suspicious promotions are their main concerns. Meanwhile, older groups are more often skeptical because they “don’t understand how cryptocurrency works.”

The survey also found that half of the respondents have never invested in cryptocurrency, while only 33.7% currently hold digital assets. Millennials have the highest level of investment participation. In terms of information sources, YouTube, with a 27% share, is the top platform Japanese users choose when making cryptocurrency investment decisions.
