Due to age reasons, Sheng Liurong, the Chief Financial Officer of China Construction Bank, has resigned.

Beijing Business News, reported by (reporters Meng Fanxia and Zhou Yili): On March 31, China Construction Bank issued an announcement stating that the bank’s board of directors received the resignation letter of Sheng Liurong. Due to age, Sheng Liurong requested to step down from his position as Chief Financial Officer of China Construction Bank. Sheng Liurong’s resignation takes effect starting March 31, 2026. The announcement shows that Sheng Liurong confirmed that there are no different opinions with the board of directors of China Construction Bank, that there are no other matters that need to be notified to the bank’s shareholders, and that he has completed the handover work in accordance with the relevant requirements.
