People’s Finance News, April 1—On March 31, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held a work promotion meeting on how state-owned enterprises can promote the employment of college graduates. The meeting stressed that we must take a higher political stance, earnestly treat the employment of college graduates as an important political task, and enhance the sense of mission, responsibility, and urgency, so as to reserve more valuable talent for high-quality enterprise development. We should take multiple measures to continuously and stably expand and sustain enrollment, carry out the special campaign to expand positions and increase recruitment at the front line of state-owned enterprises with high quality; by tapping the potential of job openings and increasing the number of hires in the industrial frontline, placing greater emphasis on recruiting graduates whose majors truly match enterprise needs, strengthening efforts in publicity and guidance, and work to set examples and provide leading models, thereby encouraging graduates to actively pursue jobs and strive for growth and success at the industrial frontline.
