Yesterday, all Comex gold, silver, and copper futures trading volumes declined. The market was relatively weaker than the previous day, and sentiment to wait-and-see rose. Gold futures trading volume was 168700 contracts, down 147734 contracts from the previous trading day. Open interest was 416492 contracts, up 6703 contracts from the previous trading day. Silver futures trading volume was 54929 contracts, down 64616 contracts from the previous trading day. Open interest was 112874 contracts, down 452 contracts from the previous trading day. Copper futures trading volume was 56121 contracts, down 26358 contracts from the previous trading day. Open interest was 241042 contracts, down 3890 contracts from the previous trading day.
