On April 2, X Product Head Nikita Bier responded to phishing incidents related to encryption on X, stating, “We are implementing an automatic lock and verification mechanism that will be triggered if a user posts cryptocurrency-related content for the first time in their account history. This should eliminate 99% of the motivation, especially considering that Google has taken no measures to stop phishing emails.”
