I just read that Hwang Jung-eum, the South Korean actress, admitted to withdrawing 4.2 billion won from her own agency to invest in cryptocurrencies. That is, between 2022 and the end of that year, she moved a total of 4.34 billion. The interesting part is that her lawyer claimed it was all for "business development" and that the profits ultimately belong to her anyway.

In the May trial, Hwang Jung-eum had already started compensating by selling crypto and plans to sell properties as well. The court accepted this.
