People’s Finance News, April 2: The “14th Five-Year Plan (Draft for Comments) for the Development of Modern Infrastructure in Guangzhou” proposes strengthening the development of high-quality datasets, building a number of multimodal, high-quality datasets around key areas of the modern industrial system by relying on the “Cantonese Data Factory.” It calls for vigorous cultivation of new data-labeling business formats and striving to create a national data-labeling pilot base. It will advance the “hundreds of models and thousands of products” cultivation action, further develop model incubation and cultivation platforms such as “Pazhou Model Grid,” and cultivate an independently controllable AI model system that is “all modalities, all sizes, all domestically produced.” It will speed up the construction of national AI industry application pilot bases and support Haizhu in building the country’s first AI large-model application demonstration zone. It will accelerate the construction of major projects such as Yuexian and Zengxin, and build the “third pole” core carrying area for integrated circuit industry development at the national level. It will build an “AI + advanced manufacturing” system, creating a number of smart manufacturing demonstration factories and typical smart manufacturing scenarios.
