Greenland News
On March 31, the 2026 Hotel & Shop Plus Shanghai International Exhibition of Hotels and Commercial Spaces—one of the most influential exhibitions in the Asian hotels and commercial spaces sector—was officially opened with great fanfare. Greenland Hotels brought its flagship brand, Boly Hotel, to make a major debut in the hotel branding investment and franchising exhibition area. At this exhibition, Greenland Hotels presented with a high-caliber lineup, not only fully showcasing its solid brand strength and a new strategic layout, but also reaching on-site signing agreements for strategic cooperation across multiple fields. By building a diversified, all-dimensional industrial cooperation ecosystem, the company became a focal point of the event. Greenland Hotels will continue to comprehensively upgrade its industrial ecosystem, further accelerate the deep rollout of its asset-light strategy, and help the hotel and culture & tourism industry achieve high-quality development during the “15th Five-Year Plan period” (2026–2030).
As one of the most influential exhibitions in the Asian hotels and commercial spaces sector, this edition brings together the world’s top hotel groups, supply chain companies, and industry leaders to jointly discuss industry innovation trends and investment opportunities. Greenland Hotels is an industry-leading enterprise deeply rooted in the hotels and culture & tourism sector. It has always taken an open approach to integrate high-quality industry resources, and with an innovative mindset, explores new pathways for industrial development. The Greenland Boly Hotel showcased at the exhibition follows the core理念 “A Journey Without Boundaries—Always by Your Side,” presenting in all directions the brand’s core strengths in areas such as quality accommodation, distinctive experiences, and resource integration. The Greenland Boly Hotel has a global membership system of more than 10 million, a well-established travel and living service matrix, and an asset-light output model, attracting many investors and industry partners to stop by and exchange ideas. On site, it累计 reached in-depth discussions with multiple investment institutions and property owners on cooperation models such as brand franchising and entrusted management. It engaged with and negotiated nearly 60 projects in total, and the industry has highly recognized the brand value and professional operational capabilities of Greenland Hotels.
On the first day of the exhibition, Greenland Hotels immediately saw a “strong opening” with cooperation and signing agreements. Greenland Hotels held four major strategic cooperation signing events in succession. It reached deep cooperation with four key partners: the Hainan Provincial Hotel and Catering Industry Association, JD Jingdong’s 京东京造, the Shanghai Fitness and Aerobics Association, and Qingchen Culture. The cooperation areas cover four core segments: regional industrial coordination, hotel supply chain upgrading, sports and culture & tourism integration, and digital marketing innovation, building a multi-dimensional, deeply rooted cooperation ecosystem. In the area of digital marketing innovation, Greenland Hotels reached deep cooperation with Qingchen Culture, a curated service provider on Xiaohongshu, becoming one of the first batches of hotel groups to settle in Xiaohongshu’s local life offering.
Among them, cooperation with the Hainan Provincial Hotel and Catering Industry Association is an important move for Greenland Hotels to advance regional coordination and development. Relying on the dual strategic opportunities of Hainan’s construction of a free trade port and Shanghai’s development as an international consumer hub city, the culture & tourism, hotel, and catering industries in the two provinces/municipalities are highly complementary, and the space for cooperation is broad. The two sides will deepen cooperation around core areas such as talent development, project investment, industrial coordination, and integration of health-and-wellness tourism, so as to achieve shared resources and complementary strengths. This cooperation not only injects new vitality into the development of Hainan’s hotel and catering industry, but also provides a high-quality platform for Greenland Hotels to expand its market in Hainan. The strategic cooperation between Shanghai Sanjiagang Greenland International Resort and the Shanghai Fitness and Aerobics Association is another important practice for Greenland Hotels in exploring the integration of sports and culture & tourism. Based on the strong foundation that related aerobics events in 2025 were successfully held at the Shanghai Sanjiagang Greenland International Resort, the two sides upgraded their cooperation this time. They will establish a long-term event cooperation relationship and jointly build the 2026 National Aerobics Championships. By deeply integrating professional venue support, meticulous service assurance, and high-quality sports event resources, they will provide solid support for the development of sports events, and also inject new sports vitality into hotel culture & tourism scenarios—enabling mutual, two-way empowerment between sports and culture & tourism. Teaming up with JD Jingdong’s 京东京造, Greenland Hotels has opened a new industry cooperation paradigm of “Hotel + Supply Chain + New Retail.”
On April 1, Greenland Hotels once again completed signing agreements with multiple high-quality partners, including Bawang Chaji, Shanghai Kent Culture, CCTV’s Guoxue channel, Shanghai Youcheng Convention & Exhibition Services, and JD Travel, among others. The cooperation map further expanded, covering multiple areas such as new Chinese-style tea drink integration, empowerment through culture and the arts, dissemination of Guoxue (traditional Chinese learning) culture, interconnection of exhibition and convention resources, and upgrading business travel and tourism services. Through its cooperation with Bawang Chaji, it has built a new benchmark for cultural integration of “Hotel + Tea Drinks.” With Kent Culture, it creates a new experience featuring a hotel AI healing space and a pet-friendly vacation. In collaboration with CCTV’s Guoxue channel, it will further explore the value of Guoxue culture and promote innovative integration between traditional culture and hotel formats. Through cooperation with Youcheng Convention & Exhibition Services, it achieves two-way empowerment between exhibition/convention resources and hotel venues. Teaming up with JD Travel, it creates a high-quality, one-stop travel service experience for business and leisure travelers.
In recent years, Greenland Hotels has continued to put more effort into brand output and management output. Leveraging strong resource integration capabilities, mature operational and management experience, and extensive brand influence, it is accelerating its strategic transformation from “heavy-asset ownership” to “asset-light management.” In the future, Greenland Hotels will deepen strategic cooperation with all its partners, continuously improve a diversified cooperation ecosystem, and keep exploring innovative pathways for the integration of the hotel and culture & tourism industry with multiple fields.
