A certain long-term BTC shorting whale has completely taken profit, with a previous position size of $4.697 million.
BlockBeats message, April 3, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, the 0x8b9-prefixed whale has fully closed out all the BTC short positions it held; the prior position size was about $4.69 million, and the closing average price was about $67,080.
This short position was opened for the first time around $69,853. During the period, it rolled the position and added to its holdings up to $72,175 at one point. The total holding duration was 24 days. This is already the 12th time this whale has opened a BTC short position within the past 4 months.
