The project aims not only to promote Ukrainian culture in Lithuania but also to support the Ukrainian community by providing access to their native art while living abroad.
As a reminder, the 212th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth was celebrated in the Lithuanian capital. The traditional commemoration took place in the Old Town near the monument to the poet, which depicts him as a young man during his time in Vilnius from 1829 to 1831.
