Hon Hai, the world’s largest electronics contract manufacturer, has announced its March revenue of 803.7 billion yuan (New Taiwan dollars; the same applies below), up 34.9% month-over-month and up 45.57% year-over-year, setting a new record high for the same period in history.

First-quarter revenue was 2.13 trillion yuan, down 18.18% quarter-over-quarter and up 29.68% year-over-year, also the highest for the same period in history.

Looking ahead, Hon Hai said that the second quarter is the traditional off season for ICT (information and communications technology). Its major products are entering a transition period between new and old product cycles. However, the AI server racks will still maintain an upward growth trend. Based on current visibility, it is expected that the second-quarter operating outlook will show quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year growth, but it will still need to continue monitoring the impact of volatile global political and economic conditions.
