U.S. media reports that more than 1,000 U.S. troops have been withdrawn from Bahrain

Odaily Planet Daily News reported that on April 3, citing statements from a U.S. Navy spokesperson, the U.S. said that after the conflict between the U.S. and Iran began, 1,500 U.S. service members stationed at a U.S. military base in Bahrain, along with the family members of these service members, had been “relocated back to the United States.” The report also mentioned that other U.S. military bases in the Middle East carried out personnel evacuations as well, but it is currently unclear what the specific numbers are.
