The Chinese Embassy in Israel reminds Chinese citizens in Israel to strengthen security precautions, stay away from civilian infrastructure, and promptly relocate to safer areas. The embassy will organize another group of Chinese citizens in Israel, including compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, to transfer and evacuate via the Taba crossing at the Egyptian side next Tuesday. The embassy reminds compatriots, especially those in high-risk areas, that they can register their personal information through the embassy’s channels and should make the relevant preparations.

The embassy states that the current security situation in the Middle East is highly tense, the risk of the fighting expanding and escalating remains extremely high, and it may also endanger all kinds of civilian facilities, such as schools, power plants, and industrial parks.

Chinese citizens in Israel should practically strengthen security precautions and relocate to safety. In doing so, you must stay away from important infrastructure and military-sensitive institutions such as airports, ports, power plants, train stations, and refineries, as well as key universities, research institutions, factories, and transportation thoroughfares. Strictly follow the security instructions issued by the Israel Defense Command on the local ground, never become complacent, and insist on not going out unless necessary. When you hear phone alerts and air-raid warnings, you must enter bomb-shelter facilities immediately to ensure your own safety.

In the event of an emergency, please promptly report to the authorities and get in touch with the Chinese Embassy in Israel.
