I just came across an interesting on-chain piece of information: the legendary Satoshi Nakamoto's early wallet address has suddenly moved, reportedly marking the first transfer activity in over 14 years. Someone received a test transaction, then the wallet sent out 1 BTC, and the entire crypto community exploded.

But to be clear, this is a fictional news story; Satoshi Nakamoto's actual wallet has never moved. Still, the topic has sparked plenty of discussion. Some researchers believe that if Satoshi really was involved, it might have been a test of wallet security, but it's more likely that the private key has been cracked. There are also cryptography professors warning people not to fall for scams claiming "Satoshi's inheritance is unlocked."

On Twitter, #SatoshiActive quickly trended worldwide. Some say this is the craziest day in Bitcoin history, but investors are worried it could trigger a massive sell-off. The Bitcoin core development team emphasized on Reddit that any message without a cryptographic signature is untrustworthy, and the community should stay rational. Even if the private key was leaked, it wouldn't compromise the security of the Bitcoin protocol itself.

Currently, BTC is around $67k. Everyone should remain cautious of unverified blockchain news and focus on preventing phishing attacks.
