Uncertainty increases, many Germans change their travel plans

A recent tourism industry survey released by Germany on the 4th shows that, due to the fighting in the Middle East, rising energy prices, and uncertainty in international affairs, many Germans are changing their travel plans for the coming months. Commissioned by the German Travel Association, a survey conducted by the German Tourism Research Institute from March 25 to 30 among 1,124 people found that 16% of respondents changed their travel plans for the next three months because of concerns about international developments, with 46% deciding not to travel and one third canceling their originally planned trips.
