On April 5, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its naval and aerospace forces jointly launched the 96th wave of Operation ‘Real Commitment-4’ in the early hours of the same day. The statement highlighted a fierce attack on the Haifa oil refinery, which supplies fuel to Israeli fighter jets, resulting in the destruction of its core components. Missiles were also used to strike the natural gas facilities of ExxonMobil and Chevron located in Habshan, UAE, as well as a petrochemical plant in Ruwais, UAE. Additionally, multiple petrochemical facilities in Bahrain’s Sitra and Kuwait’s Shuaiba were targeted by drones and missiles, leading to a complete shutdown of operations and triggering large-scale fires.
