Today (April 4) marks the beginning of the Qingming Festival holiday. In the southern regions, precipitation will temporarily weaken and shift southward toward the coastal areas of South China. But starting tomorrow, a new round of rainfall and severe convective weather will be back on the schedule, and locally there may be heavy rain or even torrential rain. In addition, today and tomorrow, strong winds and sand-dust weather will still be common in North China, the Yellow-Huai area, and the Northeast, among other places, and in many areas the temperature drop will exceed 10°C. As it is the Qingming Festival holiday, people going outdoors for spring outings or to pay respects at tombs should take proper precautions.
