U.S. media reports that more than 1,000 U.S. troops have been withdrawn from Bahrain

ME News message. On April 5 (UTC+8), U.S. National Public Radio reported on April 3, citing a statement from a U.S. Navy spokesperson, that after the conflict between the U.S. and Israel with Iran began, 1,500 U.S. servicemembers stationed at a U.S. military base in Bahrain, as well as these servicemembers’ family members, had been “relocated back to the United States.” The report also noted that other U.S. military bases in the Middle East carried out personnel evacuations, but it is currently unclear what the specific figures are.
