ME News message, April 5 (UTC+8). Odaily Planet Daily reports that the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command said that in an operation to rescue the crew members of a downed U.S. F-15E during an incident in Iran, the MC-130J aircraft that played a role has a value of more than $100 million per aircraft. This model is designed to deliver troops into hostile areas and conduct evacuations, has aerial refueling capability, and is equipped with advanced sensors for defending against air-defense interception, including a heat-tracking system. A U.S. official said that in this rescue operation, the U.S. military destroyed two MC-130J aircraft. The U.S. official did not specify the cause of the problems these aircraft encountered. An Iranian senior official released photos showing at least one aircraft’s burned-out wreckage. Iranian Parliament Speaker Galibaf posted on social media saying, “If the United States achieves three more such ‘victories,’ it will completely destroy [everything].” (Source: ODAILY)
