On April 1, Lenovo Group’s 2026/27 fiscal year kickoff meeting was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, announced that Lenovo will fully transform into an AI-native company, saying, “AI is not an add-on project, not an extra layer, and not something added after the fact,” and requiring that everything be rebuilt with artificial intelligence at the core—from product design to business processes.

Yang Yuanqing defined the new fiscal year as the “AI delivery” year. The goal is to deliver personal intelligence and enterprise intelligence products to customers, improve the ecosystem, and establish Lenovo’s leading position in the hybrid artificial intelligence space. Yang Yuanqing revealed that devices powered by Lenovo Qira will begin global shipments this month, and the Tianxi personal super assistant will also complete a new round of iteration.
